Guiding Children into the Dance of Awareness

Drawing on decades of experience in movement, healing, and somatic education, Sharon works with both neurotypical children and children with special needs to help them discover the innate intelligence of their bodies. Through gentle, attuned, and playful guidance, she invites each child into the “dance” of movement—a process of learning that awakens connection to self, deepens relationships with family, and opens the door to fuller participation in community life.

Her work is rooted in the Feldenkrais Method and the Anat Baniel Method (ABM NeuroMovement), and enriched by a lifetime of dance, Eastern movement traditions, and holistic bodywork. Each session is an exploration—an invitation to discover new possibilities, celebrate small victories, and cultivate presence and joy through the art of awareness.

Sharon has worked with children for nearly 20 years across North America, Europe, and Asia. She is a trainer in the ABM NeuroMovement® professional trainings and is considered one of the finest ABM practitioners in the world. With a natural love for children and a playful, intuitive spirit, Sharon creates a warm and responsive environment in which children thrive. She is a devoted mother and a loving aunt, and great-aunt.
